Here are some rules for making a successful package:
YOUR PACKAGE
1. Choose the right packaging for your items. Cardboard boxes double or triple groove depending on the fragility of your content, rigid cardboard tubes for your posters.
2. Choose the size of the package according to its contents. Underfilled cans are likely to crash, on the contrary overloading them can burst them.
3. Fill in all the spaces in your package. The load must be well distributed and cushioning elements such as polystyrene beads, air cushions, paper crimps must fill all voids while maintaining your products.
4. If you are reusing a box, make sure it is not damaged and has not been impacted. Once a cardboard box is weakened it no longer protects its container properly. We recommend that you always use new packaging.
5. Pack fragile items individually. Arrange them in the center of the box without your items touching each other.
6. Use a strong tape to seal and secure your shipment.
7. Carriers use scanners to read labels, so make sure yours is printed (laser or thermal printer) and securely attached. Remember to remove the old labels, if necessary.
8. Verify that the items you are sending do not appear in the Prohibited Goods List. Carriers are not allowed to send certain items. You take the risk of seeing your package blocked or not compensated in case of loss or damage.
YOUR LUGGAGE
1. In the case of sending a suitcase or luggage must be packed with plastic film or tape.
2. A package will also help secure the loosened handles or straps and protect your bag from scratches and shocks while moving.
3. If your suitcase has a pull handle, please tape it so that it does not slip or become damaged during transport.
4. Carriers use scanners to read labels, so make sure yours is printed (laser or thermal printer) and securely attached. Remember to remove the old labels, if necessary.
5. Verify that the items you are sending do not appear in the Prohibited Goods List. Carriers are not allowed to send certain items. You take the risk of seeing your package blocked or not compensated in case of loss or damage.
